Best Answer

That depends on the atom. An atom of oxygen is 16 times heavier than a hydrogen atom (the lightest atom). Uranium atoms are over 200 times heavier than hydrogen.

Regardless of what type of atom it is, a single atom won't weigh very much.

well i assure you it is small and light specify the question more

an atom of Oxygen has different mass.

So, Please mention the element

They produce heavy water at Newport Indiana What is the difference in a pail of heavy water and a pail of regular water Explain?

Normal water is made of H2O. That is: two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. Heavy water is made of 2H2O (also known as D2O). That is: one deuterium atom and one oxygen atom. Deuterium is a variation of hydrogen which has a neutron in its nucleus (normal hydrogen has no neutrons). Do not confuse heavy water with H2O2, which is simply hydrogen peroxide.
