Let the width of the rectangular prism be y
Therefore we can write all the measurements of the rectangular prism in terms of y.
width = y
length = 2y
height = y + 4
Finding the volume of the rectangular prism
y x 2y x (y + 4) = 48
2y2(y+4) = 48
y2(y+4) = 24
From this equation, we can see that y must equal 2 (22 x 6 = 24)
Therefore the width of the rectangular prism is 2m.
Note that in this question, when we got to the equation y2(y+4) = 24, we used 'guess and check' to find that y was. We purposely avoided expanding the bracket as this would have left us with a cubic to solve, which is quite difficult to solve analytically unless you already know one of its roots.

1/3*8*4.6*height = 88 height = (3*88)/(8*4.6) = 7.174 meters rounded to 3 decimal places
Its length works out as 15 meters when its width is 4 meters.
900 meters cubed
30 cubic meters
volume = width x length x height (for a rectangular object) = 5 m x 7 m x 10 m = 350 m3
the length of a rectangular garden is 12 meters and the width is 7 meters. What is the area
6118 meters cubed. The formula for the colume of a rectangular prism is length*width*height, so 23*19*14=6118.
Nissan Primera: length = 4.567 meters; height = 1.482 meters
180 meters to 300 meters height length 14ft
To get the volume of a rectangular solid, multiply height times length times width- or 5x3x2. That is 30 cubic meters.
The length or the side length would be 12 meters. 2 times 6 times 12 equals 144m3
The volume of a cuboid is length x width x height. The length is 1.5 m, the width is 0.4 m. You need to answer 1.5 x 0.4 x ??? = 0.75. To say much more would be giving the answer away...

if the diameter of the gardenis 66 metes and the measure of a is 118.8 what will the area of the fountain be?(use 3.14for.)
Its length works out as 15 meters when its width is 4 meters.
Length or distance is measured in meters.
