A pessimist is one who always assumes something bad has happened, or will happen. The opposite, someone who always expects good things and happy events, is an optimist.
A person who always expects good things to happen is called an "optimist" A person who always expects bad things to happen is called a "pessimist".

If someone expects something, such as getting a certain present for Christmas, you could call them expectant or hopeful. The word expectant is an adjective.

As people do share things I assume you are upset because someone is not sharing something with you. It is not compulsory to share, nor do people always do so. Examine why they have not shared with you.
The secret of getting people to do things is to either suggest it or even better attract them into it, it is always better than to be pushed into things.
