Yes there is a work environment in the Marine Corps. There are many MOS's that are other than a 'Foot Soldier'. Like: Airplane Mechanic, Truck Driver, Truck mechanic, Heavy Equipment Operator, Electrician, Plumber, Air Conditioning Tech., etc. These MOS's and others can be utililzed outside of the Marine Corps.
