A mountain is a hill over 2000 feet (609.8m) in height. Anything under that is considered a hill. So how is Mt. Wycheproof classified as a mountain when it doesn't fall within the parameters of being a mountain. So is it a hill? This question can't be answered as the difference between a mountain and a hill is relative. Joncey ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Officially, the world's lowest mountain is Mt Wycheproof near the town of Wycheproof, Victoria, Australia. It stands at a mere 43 m in height. Bennopia. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I live in Wycheproof and the mountain is in fact part of Wycheproof. It does stand 43m above the surrounding plain. Callan
