Well, there are several hurricanes, each with its own level of intensity.
The hurricane with the most damage was Hurricane Katrina, which hit the USA in 2005 as a category 3 hurricane. Katrina's death toll was pretty high, t officially 1,836. The deadliest Atlantic hurricane in history was the Great Hurricane of 1780, which killed at least 22,000.
