Dragonwings
Twilight (all of the books in the series) due to the terrible characters, lack of plot, atrocious dialogue, and sacrilegious vampires.
In my opinion, The House of Night series. It is a brain dump of fulfillment by PC and Kristin Cast. I found it to be even worse than Twilight because the protagonist, who looks exactly like Kristin Cast, is spoiled and unchaste, but judges other girls as "ho's." She simply regurgitates the authors' views on things and had no depth. In that book, every famous person that one of the authors likes also happens to be a vampyre. It also uses unprofessional language for a novel, and has disturbing and detailed sex scenes, despite being directed at young people. Just reading the first page will show you this.
It is difficult to determine the absolute worst-selling book of all time as sales data may not be available for every book ever published. However, some of the lowest-selling books have been self-published works with little to no marketing or distribution.
