It is model # A302688 made in the 1950ies
The only help that I can give you is that your ted williams (Sears brand) model 100 rifle was made by winchester for sears up to 1978.In that year sears quit selling the ted williams brand name firearms. They quit selling all firearms in 1980.
Your Sears model 53 rifle is indeed a Winchester model 70 rifle. These were fine made rifles that would be very good to hunt with!I am not sure what years winchester made these rifles for Sears though.
This is a Crosman model V350 it was made for Sears between 1961-1969
This appears to be a 1894 Winchester style rifle made by Daisy. All 799.xxxx JC Higgins were made for sears by Daisy air rifle. Crosman made all 126.xxxx rifles for Sears under the JC Higgins name. Your particular rifle was made between 1952 & 1955
Winchester 150-250
Sears used the Ted Williams name from 1962 to about 1988. http://www.histandard.info/PDF/Sears%20Rifles.pdf
Your Sears model 54 is a Winchester model 1894 rifle that was made for sears. If Winchester used the same serial number sequence as their serial numbers for the Model 1894,then your rifle was made in the year 1955.
the year is 1968
The number you are referring to is not the serial number. That number is the catalog number for Sears & Roebuck. The serial number is on the bottom of the rifle. V147XXX (example). These guns are essentially a Winchester 94 made for Sears & Roebuck Company produced between 1964 through 1978. There are no records available to confirm the exact year it was produced. Hope this helps.

My best guess is sometime between 1962 (When Sears signed a contract with Ted Williams) and 1978 (Sears discontinued the Ted Williams markings that year), The rifle is a Winchester Model 70- excellent rifle, by the way. The 273 number is the model number. If there is no serial number on the frame, it was pre-1968 (serial numbers were not required by US law on rifles and shotguns until 1968)
