I am trying to find the same answer. My serial # is 19803 K71. I thought it might be a 1980 model but yours is not a 2386. The Browning serial # site did not seem to help. The K means BLR and the 71 is the year.
With the letters NP in the middle of your serial number. This indicates that your Browning lever action rifle was produced in the year 1998.
1971
Call Browning with the serial number.
You can go to the browning home page and they have a spot where you can research your browning lever rifle(BLR). 32516 is the production number , K means BLR and 72 is the year of manufacture. Mine says 27290K71. It's not clear on the browning website but I've confirmed mine and yours is in the same style. And congrats, yours was also built in Belgium, not Japan as later ones are.
If you go to the browning web site and look munder customer service you will notice a site that will assist you in finding your year of manufacture.
