Jamaica is a tiny Island, we don't need zip codes, The country is divided up into 14 Parishes, and within them you find, many small communities, facilitated with a Post Office. The Mail man doesn't come to our home to deliver or letters, We all have to go to the post office to pick up that depressing utility bill, so when a Jamaican gives you his address, he will always write the name of his local post office,(instead of a zip code)

We Jamaicans, when being asked for a zip code, to be entered into fields, we merely write 1876. the area code, for calling Jam via long distance,
