In the insect world there are more ants than any other insect/animal, it is estimated that ants make up between 15 and 25 percent of the total animal biomass on the planet, over 12,500 species have been recorded to date and there are scientists who believe the total number of species could be in the region of 22,000.
As for leaves my guess is, and it is only a guess, there are more leaves than ants, any volunteers who would like to go and check?
