the type of C6H12O6 molecule you'll be wanting to find out about will be a basic sugar. This is a monosaccharide, a hexose sugar...

There are usually 3 common molecules of C6H12O6 that you will come across which are; Glucose, galactose and Fructose.

These molecules can combine to become di(2)saccharides such as maltose (2 Glucose') or Lactose which is the sugar in milk making it taste sweet.

Of course there is no hypothetical limit to how many Glusoce molecules can join together thus starch and cellulose are both long chains of glucose (polysaccharide.)

hope this helps

C6H6O6 is DHA and utilized with vitamin C (another acid). O2 would be oxygen. I'm not sure what the product would be or even if there could be a reaction between the two but if there was most likely decomposition. Hope this helps you out.

Im sorry to say that the answer given above is wrong.... C6H6O6 is nothing but the formula of Tartaric acid which is also found in grapes.... I am very confident about my answer so you needn't cross check... (my source is my chemistry textbook that's what makes me THIS sure)

Happy to help... ;)

Actually the answer immediately above me is wrong- Tartaric acid is in fact C4H6O6. C6H6O6 is a number of things, of which I know it is Aconitic acid, Hexahydroxybenzene, and Dehydroascorbic acid.

The reaction C6H12O6 + 6 O2(g) = 6 CO2(g) + 6 H2O(g) is the oxidation of glucose. This is the simplified reaction for how the cells of consumers convert glucose into energy.

What is another word for a reactant product of respiration?

Well as respiration is an energy producing process in which : Glucose ( C6 H12 O6 ) Reacts with Oxygen ( O2 ) to Produce Energy and Carbon Dioxide ( CO2 ) and Water ( H2O ) the equation (unbalanced) is : ( C6 H12 O6 ) + ( O2 ) -------------> ( CO2 ) + ( H2O ) + <energy>

What is the name of the chemical equation C6H12O6?

The chemical formula (not an equation) C6H12O6 is a hexose molecule, which means it is a sugar (-ose) molecule with 6 (hex-) carbon atoms. Glucose, fructose, and galactose are all hexoses with the same formula. However, they differ in their three-dimensional structure.

What is respiration and what is its formula?

Respiration means breathing. You're probably doing it now;-) Respiration also has another meaning, though the two functions are connected closely. Breathing (respiration) is a physical exchange of gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide). The formula, however, is: glucose + oxygen = carbon dioxide + water + energy. Hope i helped! :)
