It is always recommended that the valve and sensor be replaced together. When I replaced my EGR system this is what I did. My guess would be each selenoid and valve are calibrated together as a unit, however I do not know this for certain since I have never used an old selenoid with a new valve or vice versa. Typically you know the selenoid is shot when the engine light comes on but the car seems to operate just fine. You know the valve is shot when the car starts to idle like crap, which means the valve is sticking open at idle speed, which means some sort of mechanical failure within the valve itself. Sometimes taking the valve off and cleaning it works rather than replacing the whole setup. Hope this helps good luck!
You cannot repair an O2 sensor. Replace it.
The cam sensor is part of the distributor. You have to replace the entire distributor.
replace it.
Actually, you don't replace the sensor itself. The crazy thing is part of the harmonic balancer, and you have to replace the whole thing.
An O2 sensor unscrews just like a spark plug.
in the distributor, you have to replace the whole unit.
Approx $70.00
change coil module
It is a nonservicable part, just replace it.
If someone could please explain who to get to the oxygen sensor and explain where it is for sure?
Ain't no fixing an O2 sensor. If there is a problem with it, replace it with a new one.
yes definately. replace the o2 sensor, and you might want to also replace your pcv valve
