Condition that causes a ringing sound in your ear?

The medical name for that condition is tinitis. When excessively loud sounds destroy sensory hairs inside the cochlea, the absence of those hairs confuses the auditory center of the brain into hearing a sound that doesn't exist. Excessively loud music has been fashionable for some decades now, and tinitis is on the rise. Never listen to anything that is so loud as to cause pain.

Can you get deaf from having a stuffy ear?

I have been wondering the same thing. I have a stuffy ear right now. Usually no. It certainly feels like you can though, huh?! But usually no. I mean, if you have a certain, side affect or what ever it is, like tinitis, you can, but no. I have constant ringing in my ears, and so when ever I have a stuffy ear, I always worry about that. You won't go deaf. Hope I could help!

What might be dangerous for a person to take to many aspirin?

IF SOMEONE TAKES A large quantity of aspirin, they could suffer from a painful and/or bleeding stomach or intestines. Also uncontrolled bleeding from a simple cut, as aspirin acts like a blood thinner and interferes with blood being able to clot. Also, an overdose of aspirin can cause tinitis, which is a constant "ringing" in the ears. They could find blood in their stool (poop) as well as causing possible liver damage. ALSO, aspirin can be LETHAL (deadly) if 30 - 40 tablets of regular strength (325mg.each) are taken all at once. Kidney faliure is also a possibility.

Why is loud noise bad for your hearing?

The inner ear contains very delicate hairs which detect sound vibrations of different frequencies based upon their location inside the cochlea, which focuses sound. A sufficiently loud sound can damage these hairs. Not only does this reduce your ability to hear, but it also can leave you with an annoying condition called tinitis, in which you hear a constant sound.
