Arround 55 to 60 miles per hour.
the Yamaha ttr125 goes about 50 to 55 mph
I think one has disc brakes & the other has drum brakes but not sure which is which.
I would recommend a ttr230 they are easy to control and still have enough speed and they make a fantastic trail bike.
ttr 125

CRF150 BY FARRR - I had a ttr125 and sold it to get a crf150 and the enormous difference is shocking. The reason is that the ttr125 is a trail bike with a small engine. its acceleration and hp are decreased so that the bike is safe on trails. The crf150 if it ends in R or F like crf150R or crf150F - the F means it is a trail bike as well but it still has much more speed than the ttr not to mention size. the crf150R is a race bike made for the track and therefore it comes with a non spark arrested pipe and it is very fast for being a 150. check these out http://powersports.honda.com/2009/crf150r/specifications.aspx http://powersports.honda.com/2009/crf150f/specifications.aspx http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelspecs/238/0/specs.aspx
