Kind of a silly question, but here are a few "truths" about Cell Walls:

Cell Walls are not present in mammals.

Cells Walls are generally found in plants (I say generally, because there might be some fungi or prokaryotes (bacteria) that have cell walls).

True. The cell wall is selectively permeable, allowing only certain molecules to pass through, which helps maintain homeostasis by regulating what enters and exits the cell. Additionally, the cell wall provides structural support and protection for the cell.

No, animal cells do not have cell walls. Instead, they are surrounded by a flexible membrane called the plasma membrane. Cell walls are found in plant cells, fungi, algae, and some bacteria, where they provide structural support and protection.

Is it true that Animal cells have a cell wall?

No, animal cells do not have a cell wall. Plant cells and some other organisms like fungi and bacteria have cell walls, but animal cells do not. Instead, animal cells have a cell membrane that surrounds and protects the cell.

Is it true that cell wall lies inside the cell membrane?

The cell membrane is the outer boundary in all cells that do not have a cell wall (such as animal cells). The cell wall is found surrounding the cell membrane in plant, algal and bacterial cells.

What is a outer supportive structure of a plant cell?

The cell wall is the outer supportive structure of a plant cell. It provides rigidity and support to the cell, helping the plant maintain its shape and structure. The cell wall is made up of cellulose, a complex carbohydrate that gives strength to the cell.

What does a plant cell wall and animal cell wall have in common?
