A tube pan is usually a round pan, with a tube in the center. Generally they are used to make angel food cakes, but I'm sure they can be used for other cakes. the one below is fluted but they come smooth also.

A chiffon cake might not rise properly if baked in a regular pan instead of in a tube pan. The tube pan (angel food) allows the cake to bake from the center as well as from the sides. A make-shift tube pan can be created by placing an oven-proof glass in the center of a regular pan. However the regular pan needs to be 3" - 4" deep to contain the volume of the chiffon cake as it rises.

Line your cake pan with parchment paper. You can wet the parchment paper for easier handling when lining your cake pan.
Yes, usually a tube cake pan is a good substitution for a fluted (Bundt) cake pan.
A sponge cake can be baked in layers without a tube pan.
To bake a delicious and fluffy cake using a tube pan, start by properly greasing and flouring the pan to prevent sticking. Then, follow a recipe that includes ingredients like cake flour, baking powder, eggs, sugar, and butter. Mix the ingredients together until smooth, but avoid overmixing. Pour the batter into the tube pan and bake at the recommended temperature until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool before removing it from the pan. Enjoy your fluffy and delicious cake!
No, but you can put it in the microwave. Yes, you can buy a plastic tube pan in the oven. You can buy it at the cookware shop

1995 740i, same transmission; I purchased 14 quarts and took the car to a local transmission shop. It took about 12.5 quarts. If you want to do it yourself, fluid is added thru a recessed center bolt in the transmission oil pan (dort of like the center feature in an Angel Food cake pan. After changing the filter and bolting up the pan with all the perimeter bolts, insert a 1/4" diameter copper tube bent 90 degrees at the top. The bend has to be short and tight, yet you still need a fluid path. This is the tough part. Once your tube is poking into the pan at the topp of the center feature, start pumping fluid into the pan. Don't even worry about overflow until the 12th or 13th quart. Once it starts to overflow, remove the tube and replace the center bolt. Now you can see why I took it to a loca shop...... LOL
Yes, a savarin pan can be substituted with a bundt pan or a regular round cake pan. If using a bundt pan, the results will be similar due to its central tube and decorative shape. For a round cake pan, you can create a similar effect by placing a smaller oven-safe dish in the center to replicate the savarin's hole. However, the final presentation may not be as visually striking as with a traditional savarin pan.
The objects to be weighed are placed on the center of a pan so they can be weighed accurately, without the pan tipping over.
