Some aspects are unique, and some aspects are influenced by other European, and later American culture.
The Vikings were Scandinavian. They came from the areas which are now known as the countries of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. They were known as a seafaring nation and were unique in their religion.

The country located at 75 degrees North latitude is Norway, specifically the Svalbard archipelago. Svalbard is an Arctic territory of Norway known for its unique wildlife and icy landscapes.
Norway has the secon highest employment rate in Europe. It's a monarchy (meaning that we have a king and a queen instead of a president). The vikings lived in Norway. We're one of the richest country in the world, based on money per person, because of our oil. And we have an unique way to celebrate our national day. Instead of having huge military parades we have a children parade (I put a link to wikipedia about our national day).
The group of islands off the north coast of Norway is called the Svalbard archipelago. Svalbard is known for its remote Arctic landscape, diverse wildlife, and the town of Longyearbyen, which is one of the northernmost settlements in the world. The islands are governed by Norway and are famous for their natural beauty and unique ecosystems.
