Unrestricted Immigration means the host country allows any and all immigrants, with no restrictions on who or how many may immigrate.

This was practiced in the US many years ago, but currently immigration is tightly restricted here.

Populist support for limits in immigration can be attributed to several reasons. Firstly, populists often emphasize the protection of national identity and culture, and they believe that unrestricted immigration could threaten these aspects. Additionally, they argue that increased immigration can lead to economic competition for jobs and drive down wages for native workers.
