The "Swim Bladder" allows fish to be buoyant .
They use an air bladder to help themselves become more buoyant, keeping a little bit of air inside their bodies to compensate for their weight in the water.

fish dont actually sleep; they have no eyelids. scientists dont know for sure but they think that they go into a state of rest. It can be hard to tell if a fish is sleeping; they might float motionless, float on bottom of tank or hide in tank decor.

This could be caused by over-feeding. Fish have air bladders and they control how they float in water. If they eat to much this may damage the bladder and in return cause them to float abnormal.
