Okay, there are three types of friction.

Rolling Friction:asscociated with the rolling of a wheel or somthine circular along a surface

Static Friction: when 2 objects are rubbing against each other

Kinetic friction: the friction involved when two objects are moving relative to each other and rub against each other

To decrease friction i would use rolling. Rolling friction has less friction.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!

lubrication decreases friction unless you're lubricating with sandpaper.

Do ball bearings increase or decrease friction?

Decrease friction .

How do skaters decrease sliding friction?

by using a lubricant to decrease the friction.

When does friction decrease?

Friction will decrease if the coefficient of friction decreases. This can be caused by having a smother surface up to a point. (When two surface are TOO smooth the friction actually increases due to molecular attraction.)

What liquid is used to decrease friction?

Usually different kinds of oils or lubrications.

What is friction block?

A friction block is a mechanical device used to increase or decrease friction in a system by applying pressure to a surface. It is commonly used in industrial settings to control the movement of objects or machines.

How could you decrease the friction?

Friction is decreased by means of lubrication.

Decrease friction.

Does friction decrease or increase?

Wax, due to it filling the pores that cause friction will reduce friction.

How can you decrease magnitude of friction?

you don't.

How can you decrease the magnitude of friction?

To decrease the magnitude of friction, you can apply a lubricant between the surfaces in contact, use smoother materials to reduce surface roughness, or apply a force to counteract the friction force. Reducing the normal force between the surfaces can also decrease friction.

Does rain or snow decrease friction?
