Best Answer

When we heatted rubber over a certain steam pressure and temperature by maintaining a simple rising, steady & downing profile of steam pressure, rubber change its property and not comeback to its original state. The material becomes harder more flexible and concrete by comparing its previous property. Thus We say that the rubber is cured or vulcanized.
