As of 02/2011 a circulated US $100 bill would retail for about $105. A nice uncirculated one could bring $120.
As of 02/2010 a 1977 US Federal Reserve Note would retail for only a dollar or so above face value if it's in circulated condition. A nice crisp uncirculated one might sell for $17 or so.
