The coin has value, other than 'curiosity value' only to the original owner of the coin. Even then, it only holds value if it is a properly struck coin. That can only be determined by those thoroughly familiar with that particular coin, though one will find a plethora of self-professed 'experts' on the internet.
While there is tons of information on the internet as to the alleged meaning of the letters, the vast majority of that found on the web is erroneous, or intentional disinformation. The actual meaning is known only to the receiver of the coin, and the person or persons to whom provided it. Despite various, even emphatic and/or vehement claims to the contrary, the meaning is not 'widely known and easily discovered'.
Perhaps someone on e-Bay, etc. would have some interest in it, and would be willing to provide a dollar or so just to have something 'different' in their own collection? Otherwise, other than to the original receiver, it's just a round 'hunk of metal'.

Unless someone wants it, it's just a penny. The letters and outline of the state was not done by the U.S. Mint. Private company's add these and sell them as collectibles, but they have no numismatic value.
