Retail tops out at $120.
311A. Value around $200-$250.
Am just making a guess about 2.000 Dallars
A fully functional utility double-barrel shotgun should sell between $150 and $250, depending on condition. Being a 16 gauge will increase the value a bit in some areas of the country and reduce it in other places.
I paid $200.00 for what the gentleman told me was a 1950 .
As low as $20.00 up to $150.00 20 for junk and 150 mint.
16 gauge - smaller selection of ammunition , Higgins - Sears tradename, Bolt -not a popular action. 3 strikes. Top value $125 if in nearly-new condition. More likely to bring $50-$75.
50-150 USD or so
"J.C. Higgins" was used by Sears as a brand name from 1946 to 1962. That should gve you a general idea of age. As far as I can tell, the 16 GA was manufactured throughout that time period. As for price, I payed $225, and have seen them from 175 to 250 depending on condition. For a more certain answer, check out the gun bluebook.
