What is the year a Hercules 12 gauge shot gun made
If yours is a single shot .22, it was made for Montgomery Wards by Noble- and it is a Noble Model 10.
Montgomery Wards never made guns of rifles. They contracted several gun manufactures to make guns and rifles for them using the Wards brand name. This is the same for Sears and Western auto. All of them stopped selling guns around 1988 due to social pressure.
triumph was a shotgun line made by Crescent arms for Sears and Roebuck. The guns are not very collectible, but in good shape may bring a fair price. The gun is probably a single shot break open with Triumph stamped on the side of the action. If so it is probably nothing special, though being a 410 helps the value a bit.
There were several companies who made Montgomery Wards guns but most of them were made by Mossberg or Savage. Either way, if the gun is in reasonable & shot able condition, it is worth between $100.00 & 150.00 to a dealer.
