The most simple and practical design of a valve is a flap that keeps liquid from going into one direction, but allows it to freely flow in another direction. The name for this particular valve is called a check valve.
There isn't an egr valve on an 02 Trans Am. The engine received upgrades from the Corvette that year that allowed for the egr valve to be deleted from the design.
That depends on the design of the valve.
In an automobile engine : Over Head Valve ( its a pushrod design engine )
An improved 'flushing' system for the toilet. In particular the ball valve system
Only if it has a WOG rating that is with in the design of the system
Depends entirely upon the valve design and how it has failed. I would guess that it needs either simple cleaning/descaling or replacing, not repair.
DOHC
It's probably valve. The valve team also has steam. Inside steam you can use the level/map editor to design a new map with stuffs!
This design allows more power to be made available for the 4 stroke 2 wheeler. Multi-valve engines allow the more higher RPM's to be achieved, thus resulting in more power being made.
On a 2001 Ford Taurus : You could have the 3.0 liter " Vulcan " V6 engine ( and its flex fuel version ) which is an Over Head Valve / pushrod design engine Or the 3.0 liter " Duratec " V6 engine which is a Dual Over Head Cam design engine
The 3.0 liter " Duratec " engine is a DOHC design The 3.0 liter " Vulcan " engine is an over head valve ( OHV ) design
