The word 'gedanken' means "thoughts" or "had thought" but I do not know 'verwurrelt'. Perhaps you meant 'verwurzelt'? This means "rooted".
If you meant verwurzelt gedanken, it means something like "rooted thoughts", which I imagine suggests something like deep beliefs based on early memories, or perhaps it suggests a rigid manner of thinking. I hope it helps. It is difficult when it's just a phrase taken out of context ... and I don't speak German.
also known as "Verwurrelter" Carnaval mini-cake from Luxembourg
Basically a piece of sweet and sour doe thinly rolled to a 10 by 2 cm flakes and tied as a knot, then fried in hot oil.
After letting drip off all excessive oil, dusted with fine "powder" sugar
Has magic features !!!
Will chase all carnaval hang overs at sight.
