The yearly climatic position of Bulgaria
Here are the basics: Bulgaria is a country with moderate climate. Winter temperatures average: between 0 and minus 7 degrees C. In rare cases, it can reach minus 20 deg C. In July the temperature is around 28 to 30 deg C. but occasionally it can reach up to 35 deg C.

September is the end of the rainy season, so it is best to be prepared. There may be late overnight showers but days should be dry. The bigger problem however will be the humidity so be sure to drink plenty of water.
