∙ 13y agoIf your talking about the one in the Town Center that is rainbow-y, That is how you get to Noki Bay. You must stand in the circle of light and look at the sun.

There is no set amount of Shine Sprites required to get to Corona Mountain. To get to Corona Mountain, you have to defeat Shadow Mario(Bowser Jr.) in each world. This is usually the 6th or 7th Shine Sprite on the list. At minimum, I would say that it takes 55.

What do you do when you get the sunglasses on Super Mario sunshine?
To get the sunglasses, you have to clean off the shine gate and get the shine sprite that appears, which usually takes about 20 or 25 shine sprites. You can only wear the sunglasses in Delfino Plaza though. If you want to remove the sunglasses, simply talk to the merchant again, and he will remove them for you. P. S. If you acquire every single shine sprite, you can get a tropical shirt to go along with your sunglasses.
