Probably just dirty. Grease/gunk builds up around the inertia block and can keep the gun from resetting during recoil. Have it disassembled and cleaned.
This is a 12ga made in 1973. It is the first year of production for the Citori Model.
You can select which barrel fires first.
John Moses Browning. The Browning Superposed was the first practicle over, under shotgun
I would like to start first with the serial number. The letters MR in the middle of the serial number indicates that your browning shotgun was made in 2007.With that said,if you have a pump shotgun then you have a browning BPS.If you have a over/under shotgun then you have a browning citori. If you have a semi-auto shotgun then you have a browning gold model.
1902
1960
Browning.
It is the model name of the first Over/under shotgun that Browning made. "Superposed" in the dictionary means "one on top or over another".
1983
Whichever one you pull the trigger to.
If your Browning auto-5 shotgun is in 12 gauge, then it was made in the first year of production which was 1903.If you have a 16 gauge auto-5 shotgun, then it was made in the first year of production which was 1909.
Early 1900s.Browning first had the auto-5 shotgun imported from FN of belguim in 1903,but this was only 3 months. Then in 1923 browning began regular importation of belguim made shotguns.
