This is happening to my dog too. She is sick, lethargic, has wheezy breathing, pain, vomiting, and deep red bloody stools, of which are more blood than stool. She also won't eat, or drink anything and hasn't in 2 days. We have been forcing water with a syringe. The vet gave us antibiotics that don't really seem to be working, but they ran a bunch of test, all were negative. I think she is dying. Can anyone help please? Has anyone has anything like this happen to their companions?
Just like humans, if a dog poops out blood, it's not a good sign. You need to take any animal that poops blood to the vet immediately.
Pooping blood can mean a number of things. It can be a sign of cancer or a sign of a hemorrhoid. Hemorrhoids are blood vessels that build up in the rectum or something like that, usually they are not harmless but you should get them removed if you/your dog has them. There are many other wacky things that could be causing your poor doggie to poop out blood. Bottom line, get him checked.
Take to vet immediately can indicate foreign object, or illness. Go to vet now!!!
it might be internal bleeding whitch isn't good to have unattended
you might want to see a vet
if your dog is a female it is probably because she is in heat.
There could be a ruptured intestine... I would get my dog into the vet FAST. It could die!
Changing to a new dog food can cause this, or the pet swallowed a foreign object, need to know if the blood is red? How much blood and is it gel like? to determine area of bleeding.
The blood indicates cuts in the digestive tract. Your dog needs surgery immediately.
possibly probaly a good idea to go to vets!
How long before you worry about old dog not pooping ?
what!
The master is pooping
No.
...Take her to an emergency vet.
dont feed it corn
cause it is...why can't it?
she could be pregnant
Yes you should
Your dog may be pooping more and sleeping more than usual because it is getting sick. Your dog may also just be getting old.
