Check your plugs, check your plug wires, any of these can be malfunctioning.
On quite a few older 2 stroke jet ski's, water is injected into the exhuast flow to cool the exhaust pipe, and possible turn the pipe. If the moter stops running and you turn the ski over the wrong way this water can enter the cylinders. Once in the cylinders it can damage the pistons and rings. If the ski is running this is not a problem because the exhaust gasses keep the water from entering the cylinders. If the ski is not running there isn't anything to keep the water from entering the cylinders if the ski is rolled the wrong way.
Those three wires are pluged in wrong at the distributor; or they are no good and grounding out somewhere. Those three wires are pluged in wrong at the distributor; or they are no good and grounding out somewhere.

Air in the system. Bleed the system. Defective thermostat, clogged radiator, defective cooling fan or fan clutch.
As a guess both low beams are burnt out The daytime running and high beams are the same light filament. Or the fuse or the relay for the low beams.
i believe that is a lean condition on those 4 cylinders. Im not sure you did something wrong, but you might want to add more fuel for the extra air getting in as a result of the higher lift cam.
Go to a good mechanic and ask what is wrong. It can take a couple of hours, but you will find your problem.
