A www2."sitename"."domain" is another server for a website but it can be dangerous sometimes but it depends on the site you are visiting but never enter personal info or login info on a website that has the address www2.example.com since its dangerous
If you don't believe me do the following for proof:
Go To www2.Roblox.com
Go To My Roblox but make sure you are signed out
Then you get a message from Microsoft saying there is a problem with the security cert which means the security level is low which means you info will more then likely be taken by another dangerous site
So remember www2.examplesite.com or .net or .info , .biz , .org ect. is a dangerous website address so if you are on a website remember you want the site to be www. not www2.
By the way other people wanted to know is https:// a safe web address my answer?YES ITS TOO SAFE YOU WILL BE BROUGHT TO A SECURE SITE
thanks
and remember be safe on the web

www2 is a host name, usually for a sub-domain, used to identify closely related websites, e.g. a server cluster. To create www2 for a website is a matter of creating a sub-domain like: www2.example.com. The same applies to www3.example.com, www4.example.com, etc. Note that a website doesn't need www2, or any sub-domain for that matter.
WWW1, WWW2 or even WWW3 is nothing but a mirror of the original web server which is typical WWW. Many websites like government, banks even major search engines like Google(www1.google.com or www2.google.com) and Yahoo(www1.yahoo.com or www2.yahoo.com)! uses www1 and www2. The main purpose of this techniques is to reduce server load. Sometimes the original server need to be updated or modified but major websites like .gov, .edu, google.com, yahoo.com cannot just shut their main server down for hours to update their system. Therefore, they need to use www1 or www2 duplication of their mainframe server.
