There are three kinds of motion which an airplane can make, which correspond to the three dimensions. Imagine a model of an airplane. If you hold it by the nose and the tip of the tail and turn it around, that is roll. If you hold it by the wingtips and turn it end-over-end, that is pitch. If you put a post through the middle of the fuselage from top to bottom like a merry-go-round horse and then swing it from side to side, that is yaw.
Yaw is one of the three dynamics of flight. It is the movement of the nose of the aircraft left or right caused by wind conditions or use of the rudder. Generally yaw of the aircraft can best be illustrated or understood by picturing an aircraft in level flight with it's nose on the horizon. Without lowering or raising a wing that aircraft's nose makes a left or right movement along the horizon and in theory changes the heading and/or the direction of travel.

At times when aircraft are flying in certain wind conditions the wind will slowly drift them off course. The pilot will typically turn or "yaw" into the wind so that their intended course does not deviate and they end up where intended.

The other 2 dynamics are roll and pitch.

What are the two parts of an airplane that controls the yaw?

Typically the rudder is the only part of the aircraft that controls the yaw. Wind can act as a variable and affect the yaw but it is not a pilot induced or controlled movement

When does P-factor cause the airplane to yaw to the left?

When at high angles of attack.

What part on a plane makes it yaw?

Moving the rudder causes an airplane to yaw, which means the plane is remaining basically level, but is turning left or right.

Yaw, pitch, and roll. (thrust is needed for any on of these to occur)

What are 3 axis on an airplane?

Pitch, Roll and Yaw The Axis that is aligned with the fuselage of the airplane is the main X-axis. Rotation about this axis is called Roll. If the nose goes Up or Down this is the Pitch. Rotation about the Vertical axis is Yaw or when the tail goes from side to side.

What is the side to side movement of the nose of an airplane called?

yaw rotation is a movement around the yaw axis of a rigid body that changes the direction it is pointing, to the left or right of its direction of motion.
