Yogasana is a one of the eight limb of yoga as prescribed by patanjali which comes under Hata yoga. How to give a title of a paragraph?

If looking for a miracle cure for serious ailments then you can clap your way to good health. Crush chronic illness with your hands, says K.C. Bhardwaj, a 76-year-old self-styled yogi of Mandali village near Phagwara. He claims to have invented "clapping yogasana".His creative 'asana' was mocked at first by village residents, who called him a lunatic for waking them up daily before the break of dawn. However, as the therapy worked, many are now themselves responsible for the noise clapping to keep good health. "Over a decade back I was looking for a miracle cure to glaucoma. I had started lose vision in both eyes. I did not have the courage to undergo surgery. It was then I heard at a 'satsang' that clapping could cure diseases and that was why devotees clapped while reciting kirtans."Clapping stimulates blood circulation and removes all obstructions in the veins and arteries, including bad cholesterol. Bhardwaj claims that even the World Health Organisation (WHO) confirmed it as best exercise. "I regained my vision in about a year just by clapping for about half an hour every morning," he reveals. Explaining the method, he said before clapping one should apply coconut or mustard oil on the palms so that it was absorbed by the body. Wear socks and leather shoes to check leakage of energy waves generated in the body. Strike both hands against each other, right to left, keeping them straight facing each other and the arms a little loose. Fingertips and the palm of each hand should strike each other, advises Bhardwaj.Initially, he says, clap 200 to 300 times the first day and increase the speed from 50 to 100 claps a minute and duration to about 20 minutes. A healthy person, who wants to keep fit, should clap 1,500 times a day. Telling about the benefits of clapping, Bhardwaj claims the problems that would vanish over a period of time.Life threatening heart conditions, hypertension, and diabetes, depression, asthma, common cold, and arthritis, headaches, insomnia and hair loss could be cured by clapping, he says. "Besides recognition from my students, my efforts also landed me and my 'invention' in the Limca Book of Records in 1997, for clapping 9,500 times; 158 claps in a minute, which was heard a km away during early morning hours," notes Bhardwaj. His advice to the people living in air-conditioned houses and working in offices, who do not sweat at all: clap as it would help blood circulation in the body and cleanse it fully.

What are the few comments by Lord Krishna in section six or sixth adhyaya of Bhagwat Geeta?

Lord Krishna says, "The person, who does karma with out the attachment to the fruits of karma, is sanyasi and yogi. The person, who has given up the fire is not sanyasi and the person, who has given up the actions is not yogi. (6/1)." Look Arjuna, The sanyasi and yogi are both one and the same thing. Because nobody becomes yogi, who has not given up the desires. (6/2). "The person, who wants to be yogi, has to do all the karma, with out any attachment (to the fruits of karma.). After becoming yogi, he has given up all the desires." (6/3). " The person becomes yogi, when he has given up any interest in the objects of the sensory organs. He has also given up the attachment to the (fruits of) karma. Such person is called as yogi." (6/4). "You should lift yourself from the this sea of desire for these material things. Do not fall yourself into it. Because the man is himself the friend of himself and the enemy of himself." (6/5). "The person, who has conquered the mind and body with all the sensory organs, is friend of himself. The person, who has not conquered the mind and body with sensory organs, is the enemy of himself." (6/6). "The person, who is stable in hot and cold, in happiness and unhappiness, in the respect as well as in the insult, the person, who has conquered himself, is stable in the infinite God." (6/7). "The person, who is happy about the knowledge, the person, who does not react psychologically to the external stimuli, the person, who has conquered the sensory organs very well, the person, for whom the soil, stone and gold is same, is there with the infinite God." (6/8). ( All the material things are made up of the same elementary particles like electrons, protons and neutrons. It is the configuration that is different. The yogi sees the electrons, protons and neutrons in all the material things. So for the yogi the soil, stone and gold is one and the same thing.) "The person is said to be very great, when he has 'same attitude' for persons, who help others (with out expectations), who is a friend, who is enemy, who is not interested in you, who tries to help both the parties in conflict, who is fit to be hated, who are brothers and sisters, who are the ones, those fallow the religion and the persons, who are sinners." (6/9). (For decades these two lines are driving my attention. The yogi sees same thing in every body. That same thing is called as soul. So the yogi will act as the demand of the situation. So he will kill the extremists, with out any prejudice. But deep down the yogi knows that there is the same soul that is there in those bodies. So the yogi is destroying the defective genetic material only. Not the soul, which can not be destroyed.) "The yogi, who has conquered the mind and the sensory organs, who is there with out any expectations, who has not collected the material things for himself, should stay alone and concentrate on the infinite God." ( 6/10). "The yogi should sit in a pure land, where the dry grass is spread. On that grass there is skin of deer and on that some cloth is there. The position, which is neither too high nor too low. The yogi should sit on such position, he should have control over his sensory organs, then do the study to cleanse the mind and intellect." ( 6/11, 6/12). (Lot of discussions are done on the yogasana. It has evolved as the great ancient Hindu science. But the Geeta the yogasana are mentioned as to keep your body in comfortable position. That is the importance of yogasana. If you are not comfortable physically, then you can not concentrate on the infinite God.) "The yogi should sit with stable body, head and neck. He should see in the straight direction, He should not look at other directions. He has stabilized himself in complete abstinence, he is there with out the fear, who has got the heart with complete peace, who has control over the mind and then concentrate on Me. (That is infinite God.)" (6/14). ( In Geeta, Lord Krishna is talking some thing, which is most unusual. Nobody else has declared Himself as infinite God. Lord Krishna belongs to the time, when science and humanity was most backward. Even today also nobody has born, who has clear concept about infinity. It is not possible for human brain to process the concept of infinity in physical sense. What ever Lord Krishna talks makes a great sense. So He can not be discarded like that only. No other god or goddess has claimed himself or herself to be infinite God in Hindu religion. Ram from Ramayana is found to worship the Lord Shiva. At the time of difficulty Lord Shiva runs to Lord Vishnu and vise verse.) "The yogi, who has conquered his mind concentrate on Me and then get the ultimate happiness and peace of mind that is there in Myself." (6/15). " Look Arjuna, this yoga is is feasible to the person, who does not eat too much or too less, not to the person, who sleeps too much or the person, who sleeps too less." (6/16). "The yoga, which destroy all the unhappiness can be obtained by the person, who is indulged in moderation in all the karma, who takes food in right quantity, who takes right amount of sleep and remain awake for right amount of time." (6/17). ( Moderation is the key word. If you eat excessive, you get indigestion, if you do not eat, then your attention will be diverted towards the food. So moderation in every thing is the key word to go to the ultimate target. Incidentally Lord Buddha also talks of moderation only.) " The person, whose mind and intellect is is under his own control and is stable in infinite God, the one, who is not interested in the objects of sensory organs, is said to be yogi." ( 6/18). "As the flame of lamp is stable in the place, where there is no air flow, the mind and intellect of the yogi is said to be as stable." (6/19). "The yogi has stabilized himself in the infinite God. Who has got the knowledge of infinite God and the yogi is satisfied in that infinite God." (6/20). " The happiness can not be obtained by the sensory organs. That can be obtained by the pure intellect only. Once the yogi get that infinite happiness, then he can not be dislocated from that happiness." (6/21). " Once the yogi has obtained this happiness, he does not want any other happiness. He can not be disturbed by the biggest sorrow." (6/22). "This yoga is without the unhappiness of the material world. You should know the same. You should stabilize yourself in the yoga. That is the great job that you should do." (6/23). "You should give up the ambitions those are come from desires. You control all the sensory organs with the help of your mind. Keep trying again and again and fix your mind to that infinite God. Think nothing but about infinite God only." (6/24, 6/25). " Mind is not stable and wonders here and there, because of various reasons. You control the mind and then put it on the infinite God repeatedly." (6/26). "The yogi, who is stable in every other soul, the yogi, who knows that every soul is just like his own soul, the yogi, who sees that he is there in every soul and every soul is there in himself." (6/29). "The person, who sees the infinite God every where, the one, who sees that all the souls are part of the infinite God only, then for him, I do not disappear and for me, he does not disappear." (6/30). "The yogi, who worships the Me, who is there is all the souls, then regardless of his behavior, he behaves into Me only." (6/31). "Look Arjuna! The yogi, who sees himself in every soul, and for whom the happiness and sorrow are the same, that yogi is said to be very great." (6/32). Arjuna says, " Krishna, I can not see the yoga, that is told by you due to unstable mind of mine." (6/33). "Because the mind is very unstable, which falls down repeatedly, which is fix and very powerful. I find it as difficult as to control the flow of air." (6/34). Lord Krishna says, " Arjuna, the mind is very unstable and can be controlled with great difficulty. But it can be controlled with repeated efforts and non-attachment." (6/35). "In my opinion, the yoga is not possible for the person, who has no control over the mind, Yoga is possible for the person, who tries repeatedly and has control over the mind." (6/36). Arjuna asks, " Krishna, the person, who has got faith in yoga, but has no self control, the one, who is diverted from yoga, goes at which plcae?" (6/37). "Does such person, with out any support from both sides, get destructed?" (6/38). " Krishna, you only can clear this doubt of mine. Nobody else can do the same." (6/39). "Lord Krishna says, " Arjuna, that person is not destroyed in the earth or heaven. Because the person, who tries to go to infinite God, never goes to bad place." (6/40). "Such person, who is diverted from yoga goes to heaven. Stays there for many years. Then take birth in the house of the person, whose character and behavior is very good." (6/41). " Such type of place of birth is very rare." (6/42). "Then he again tries for to reach the infinite God." (6/43). "That person, who is diverted from yoga, gets attracted towards the infinite God. The person, who tries to know about the equality in yoga, cross the fruits of karma as per mentioned in Vedas." (6/44). " But the person, who tries repeatedly, by the force of previous births, goes to infinite God, after getting free from the sin." (6/45). "Yogi is better than the people, who worship the infinite God, Yogi is better than the people, who who work to achieve some material thing. So Arjuna, you become the yogi." (6/46). "Among all the yogis, the yogi, who has faith in me, who concentrate on Me, is best one." (6/47).

What is holistic research?

Enjoy your research. Holos [G] means to see things as a part of whole. There are some people who analyze things and there are some who synthesize [or rather explore the unity]. Both methods are important. Holistic approach is especially inmportant in health and medicine as it defines health more completely and meaningfully. Holistic health thus is physical, instinctual, emotional, intellectual and spiritual health of an individual, family, society, nations and world and involves holistic perspective and knowledge based on anlytical research and coordinated policies, plans and their implementation in all the fields such as education, agriculture, industries, technology and others. In education it means efforts and processes involved in physical, instinctual, emotional, intellectual, psychomotor, productive and spiritual domains of the students and the teachers as well!

What is the supportive treatment of diabetes?

The supportive treatment of diabetes Actually all the measures taken apart from the drugs is adjuvant therapy or supportive therapy. My experience (which can not be a prescription but a kind of clue to the approach and attitude) is, the supportive treatment proves more useful and effective. My blood pp (post prandial i.e. two hour after food) glucose was not coming down below 300 mg inspite of 2000 mg of metformin and glimeperide 2 mg and 80 mg of gliaclazise. The first thing I did was defy the fear of any situation imaginable. Usually medical doctors get afraid due to the thoughts of horrendous complications of diabetes, which they read in their currculum. Hence I was also getting worried and extremely anxious by thought of misery and helplessness. I could overcome fear, in my opinion, due to the practice of remembering God i. e. true self, through the practice of remembering His name. This is called NAMASMARAN in Sanskrit, Hindi, Marathi and many languages in India. The practice of NAMASMARAN appears wired and irrational to many. Even I used to think that way. But I realized later that it could rescue me from the distressing and suffocating negative and positive ideas and thoughts and helps me merge with myself. This is a great experience of freedom from the prison which apparently I myself created in the state of ignorance! Believe in me, no other measures such as getting more money, more fame, more tangible success in the form accolades, drinking, socializing, chit chatting, chatting on net, partying, movies, picnics, music and even the tenacious practice of pranayam and yoga could not do it, in my case! In the course of the practice of NAMASMARAN I became more and more oriented to the most cherished aspects of my life and began to get involved in them, on priority basis and in spite of distractions and disturbances! Writing in wikianswers is a part of it. As a result of this buoyancy, I began to feel that every moment and every good or bad situation in life is a great opportunity to grow within and merge with my true self (which is said to be not different from universal self). So I began to sleep well and get up early, began to take bath every day, twice, beagn drinking water every morning and began rubbing my gums and palate regularly happily and enthusiastically. I began taking salad and and sprouted methi (fenugreek seeds) without a stressful sick feeling of compulsion and a sick a feeling of being a miserable and helpless patient! I began to explore other possibilities and began consuming (Homeopathic) acid phos 30, lactic acid 30 and sygygium mother tincture and (Ayurvedic) standard preparations. I began consumption of juice of ginger, amala, bitter gourd, turmeric, pudina, neem, tulsi etc. with joy. I beagn to climb the stairs regularly and avoid the lift i.e. elevators with a sense of victory. I also began foot massage, accupressure, eye exercises and yogasana and pranayam with great thrill and assurance to grow within and achieve and enjoy the profoundest romance in life. Presently my blood sugar pp has came down to 90 mg to 101 mg ( the tests were repeated four times to confirm the accuracy of results) with almost half the dose of metformin and without glimeperide. There can be many more tools in the repertire of therapy of diabetes, but I have shared my experience in brief. I know nothing is certain and permanent. Nothing is "absolute truth" including what I have written. Nothing can be gauranteed to benefit yet another person. But the feeling underlying this sharing is eternal and universal!
