He is in motion relative to me, and he is at rest relative to his friends.
There is no 'real' rest or 'real' motion. It's always measured relative to something else.

A person looking for vacation travelling tips to Vietnam could search the web, go see a travel agent, borrow a book from the local library or purchase a book on travelling tips to Vietnam. If there is a seminar where someone shares their experience travelling to and in Vietnam would be another place they might get valuable tips. Perhaps a friend they know that has travelled to Vietnam would be able to give tips to their friends on vacationing there.

That will depend on where you're travelling from.
One may use the concept of relative motion to get an idea about the same. If one object fixes his frame of reference to an object which is stationary or is travelling with same speed and direction,to itself(that is their is no relative motion) the that object shall feel its NOT traveling at all. On the other hand if it feels that wrt. to that frame of reference its speeding or that frame is speeding one gets an idea of travelling fast, fater and so on. Example: Suppose you are in a train and the train is accelerating contentiously to gain speed. A person looks out of the window to see ,say a fixed tree, to move away very fast from his observation. As the train may speed he may observe the tree vanishing away in no time. So he gets the idea of speeding and traveling fast or slow. Importantly if another person who sits in the train observes this person he feels both are at rest and not traveling at all.
Generally, a person who does not have friends is referred to as an outcast or a loner.
