My relationship with Jesus Christ is one of learning, for learning's sake. I am interested in one of the most significant world movements of ancient times. I do not believe that Jesus was divine and am uncertain whether Jesus of Nazareth really existed.
ANSWER
My relationship with Jesus Christ is that He is my Lord and Saviour and my God. He is my elder brother spiritually according to scripture, as a believer. I believe He is the Word of God Incarnate, and so obviously I also believe that he is divine and also that he did really exist in History and that there is more proof of Him as an ancient figure of importance that actually walked this earth (whether you believe his claims about himself or not) than there are for about any other ancient person of importance that we believe historically existed. It's just because of of His claims of who He is, that He has been scrutinized from every angle more than any other person in History, and His book, The Bible, likewise more than any other book in history. This is especially true in the last 150 years or so, but not so before that time. Yet inspite are the results as its always been the last 2000 years; there are some who believe in Him for who He claims to be and claim Him as their Saviour, and there are those who do not believe.
