The nation of Scotland is NOT on an island. It has a land boundary with England.

However, off the west coast of Scotland, and part of the nation of Scotland are the Inner and Outer Hebrides (islands). The largest of which, is the isle of Skye. Then the islands of Lewis/Harris, Mull and Arran. There are numerous smaller islands, each with their own name.
