The spider-man movie was based on a lot of comic books. It is not only one perticular comic book. To find out more about the movie, visit the movie's website or go on Wikipedia. They based it off of Amazing Fantasy issue 15. Ultimate Spider-Man 1-7 was used as well. Other issues that inspired it were the Death of Gwen Stacy (though they changed it to MJ and let her live), and the origin of the Goblin.

The movie Spider-Man (2002) was loosely based on the comic book storyline "The Amazing Spider-Man #121-122" known as "The Night Gwen Stacy Died." It featured the iconic battle between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin, leading to the tragic death of Gwen Stacy.
