You may be able to move out if your parents allow you. Otherwise you would have to petition the court for emancipation.

He was a career military officer for 36 years
Women during the civil war could not have any jobs unless they were slaves and/or being in the house taking care of their children.
I'm going to need you to be a little more precise here. Do you mean... * what are some jobs that aren't being a doctor? * what are some jobs in the medical field that aren't being a doctor? or * what are some jobs that pay as well as being a doctor but aren't a doctor? If it's the first: There are only about nine kajillion jobs that aren't being a doctor. Crab fishing is not being a doctor. Infantry in the Marines is not being a doctor. Demolishing buildings with high explosives is not being a doctor. (They are, however, three of the most dangerous jobs in the world.) If it's the second, you could develop new medical equipment or new medicines. You could research diseases. You could manage a hospital. If it's the third, you could be a lawyer, a stockbroker or an executive. You could also learn to play the drums. But then you'd have to get lots of tattoos and piercings and live out of a suitcase nine months out of the year, and learn to sleep on buses during the day because drummers work at night.
Some good part time jobs include being a cashier, being a daycare teacher or working at a fast food restaurant. You could also look into employment at a nursing home.
what other jobs could you get if you were a anthropoligist
Women could do anything that they wanted, because all jobs were being opened to women.
You could be a secretary at a legal firm. But if you want to be a lawyer, go to college.
You could not pick any one job. For an economy to function you need many different kinds of jobs. Without other jobs, some jobs would be less important or could not function. As a simple example: If there were no products being made, there would be no need for transportation. If there was no transportation, then goods being made could not get to where they are needed and to be sold. So these need each other, and that is true of all kinds of jobs. Simple jobs are important in the whole economy, in order for it to function, so there is no most helpful job.
