∙ 10y agoPoe always excelled in writing. His first small book of poetry, 'Tamerlane and Other Poems' was published when he was 18 years old. Other than being enlisted in the military (not even full turn). There wasn't really anything else he did before or after he became an author yet he edited and wrote for several publications during his lifetime.
