Yes. There is going to be a hotel in space. But that probably will not happen in our lifetime but way after in the future. Probably like when there's flying cars on earth. And floating houses and stuff

Astronauts in space are subject to the same laws that they would be in their home countries on earth, and they are still subject to the rules of the organization that put them there.
They have to eat freeze dried food to conserve weight on the shuttle. It is not the best stuff you would want to eat, but, it keeps them living.

The Earth's atmosphere creates distortion and acts as a filter to prevent a perfectly clear view of space. Outside our atmosphere, there is nothing blocking the view. That and there is less light from cities and stuff to interfere with the telescope.
There is a lot of space to do naughty stuff in, and apparently it is good to look at (space and stars and moon, not naughty Stuff).
