It is the key marked: Num Lock. There should be a light showing on the keyboard when the Num Lock has been pressed and the numeric keypad can be used.

When you "enable" your number lock key, when you press the number buttons on the numeric keypad it will type numbers. When you "disable" your number lock key the number keys on your numeric keypad will no longer come up but the keypad will return to its default settings. Certain numbers do certain things when the number lock key is disabled.
For Windows press and hold the <alt> key then on the numeric keypad hit 0-1-5-9
You should just be able to hit the NumLock key on the numeric keypad.

I think you are asking about ASCII number for space i.e. "032". Press 032 on numeric pad while pressing "Alt" key. Hope that helps....
