PFAW stands for "People for the American Way." They are a center-left advocacy group and their pet issues are separation of church and state, voting rights, and campaign finance reform. Currently, they are advocating to overturn "Citizens United," the Supreme Court ruling that allowed major corporations and individual billionaires to give as much money as they wish to political campaigns, often anonymously. PFAW wants legislation passed that would overturn this and other similar laws that allow what the organization believes is a handful of extremely wealthy people to buy elections.
