The function of the computer mouse is to navigate. The mouse moves around the pointer on the screen and lets you click into other sights, etc.
Open the control panel on your computer (on my computer for example, it comes up when I click start in the lower left hand corner of the screen). Next click on "mouse" or "mouse properties." There should be a tab for "pointers" that you can click on -- then choose the pointer you want.
