The keys of B major and G sharp minor have five sharps in the treble clef, but like all key signatures, the sharps significations also appear in the bass clef.
Any scale will have the same key signature in both the bass and treble clef. For A major, the key signature consists of F#, C#, and G#.To write the key signature:Treble Clef: the sharps correspond to the 1st and 3rd spaces, and the second line [F#, C#, and G#, respectively].Bass Clef: the sharps correspond to the 2nd and 4th spaces, and the 4th line [C#, G#, and F#, respectively).
The clef does not affect the key signature. The key signature with one sharp (F#) stands for G major. The relative minor key is e minor.
Key Signatures are usually found after the clefs. There are both on the bass and the treble clef.
Basically you look at the sharps and flats that are near the treble/bass clef, and use that to tell it. There are more complex ways to find major and minor, but minor tends to be sadder, and I don't know them (maybe someone else can improve this?)
Well, if you are asking about key signature, it depends on the key. As in the treble clef, the key of G, for instance, would have one sharp; however the sharp would be on the fourth line because that is where the F is. If you are asking about the clef, the bass clef (also called the F clef) is essentially a blob of ink on the F line surrounded by a spiral, with two dots (:) to the right, and on either side of the F line. You can see it by going to wikipedia.org and typing "clef" in the search box.

The sharps and flats before a clef sign is the "key signature" of the music. They tell you which notes in the music are to be played sharp or flat (in other words what "key" the music is in). For any more information feel free to visit my website www howard-evans-music-tuition.co.uk.
the oboe reads on the treble clef and in the key of C
lines: every good boy does fine spaces: FINE
It means the key signature of the following music is in the key of F major of D minor
If you send me a soundbite of the music I can tell you what key it's in or, if you have the sheet music, I can tell you what key it is in if you tell me how many sharps/flats are next to the treble clef sign at the very beginning of the piece.
There could be many answers, but I choose the word, "key". A Key signature is placed beside the clef signs in any piece of music.
it is the cleff I think what you are looking for is the key signature.
