To move the insertion point to the end of a document, you can typically press the "End" key on your keyboard. This will take you to the end of the current line. If you want to go to the very end of the document, you can press "Ctrl" + "End" on Windows or "Command" + "Down Arrow" on Mac.

If you hit the Backspace key, the insertion point will move to the left. If you press the Delete key, the insertion point will stay where it is.

If you are at the end of the document then press the Enter or Return key to extend the working area of the document. The arrow keys and Page Up/Down keys only work in the working area of the document.
