oxygenated blood
It collects blood and transfers it to the left ventricle, where blood is pumped to the rest of the body.

Mitrial valve
The opening between the right and left atrium is the foramen ovale. The duct connecting the pulmonary artery to the aorta is the ductus arteriosus.
The right artium and ventricle receives blood from the tissues. The left atrium and ventricle receives blood from the lungs.
Blood flowing into the left atrium comes from the two pulmonary veins.
The mitral valve allows blood to enter the left ventricle from the left atrium during contraction of the left ventricle. This valve opens to allow blood flow from the atrium to the ventricle and then closes to prevent backflow of blood.
Actually it is the Left Atrium
to left ventricle from where it goes to lungs for oxygenation.
left ventricle
Oxygenated blood flows from the lungs to the left atrium contractions (heart muscle) cause the blood to leave the atrium and enter the left ventricle. Further contraction causes the blood to leave the atrium and enter the aorta.
