Where is the power steering fluid for a 1997 Buick Regal LS 3.8 liter engine?
In the engine compartment passenger side.
the red dipstick towards the backside of the engine
It is important to use the right types of fluid in a car. The engine oil for a 1995 Buick Century is 5w-30 or 10w-30.
The transmission is a good place and the fluid is normally installed by using the dipstick tube which at the rear of the engine near the firewall.
Well... pull-out that rather long dipstick located in the back of the engine compartment, and add some transmission fluid. Make sure you check the fluid level with the engine at operating temperature, in park and on a level surface.
Attached to the rear of the engine is the transmission. There is a filler tube coming out of the transmission and it usually has a red dipstick that you remove to add fluid. Dexron 3 is the fluid to be added.
What type transmission fluid for 95 Buick lasabre
A 1995 Buick LeSabre takes 7.4 quarts of transmission fluid. Dextron lll transmission fluid is recommended for use in the Buick LeSabre.
My 1991 Buick Century won't move or hold transmission fluid
Assuming this is a 3800 Buick engine the power steering pump is on the left side (hood up looking into the engine bay) of the engine toward the firewall (back side of engine). In our 94 Regal it is basically right on top of the engine and the serpentine belt that drives this pump is clearly visable as is the filler cap for p/s fluid!
In the power steering pump. It is on the back of the engine on the right side. You will need a long funnal.
